Image to Loop Video is a small independent tool. It does one thing: you give it a photo, and it gives you back a video that loops without a visible seam.

It exists because the hard part of a looping clip was never the animation — it was closing the loop. Crossfades ghost, and cutting between two similar frames only works when the motion happens to come back around. Here the generated clip is simply mirrored onto itself, so the final frame is the opening frame and the join is exact.

How it is built

The animation step uses an open image-to-video model running on fal. Reversing and joining the clip is done with ffmpeg on the same infrastructure. There is no queue of humans behind it and no editing happening in your browser.

Limits, honestly

Output is a 6-second 16:9 clip at 480p source resolution. Because the second half runs in reverse, motion with a clear one-way direction will visibly reverse — ambient movement is what this is for. Fine text, logos and small faces can warp, as they do with every video model.
